Overview
The Settings page lets you customize how Shelflife works for your store.
Plan management
View your current plan and subscription status. From here you can:
- Upgrade from Free to Growth ($35/month or $400/year)
- Cancel your Growth subscription
- Compare plan features side by side
Inventory defaults
Default safety stock (Growth plan) — Set the minimum stock level that applies to all your product variants. When a variant's stock drops below this level, it factors into the urgency calculation. You can override this per variant from the inventory dashboard.
Stock thresholds (Growth plan)
- Critical threshold — Number of days until stockout that triggers "Order now" status (default: 3 days)
- Warning threshold — Number of days until stockout that triggers "Order soon" status (default: 7 days)
Adjust these to match your ordering and fulfillment speed. If your suppliers typically deliver in 2 weeks, you might set warning to 14 days and critical to 7 days.
Notification emails
Add the email addresses that should receive stock alerts and delivery reminders.
- Free plan — 1 email address
- Growth plan — Up to 10 email addresses
This is useful for notifying your purchasing team, warehouse manager, or store owner — anyone who needs to act on low stock.
